Those factory packages establish two different starting points. They use different tire widths, sidewall heights, and space around the strut and fender. Record the model year, equipment package, current wheel and tire sizes, ride height, alignment, and any suspension changes before discussing an aftermarket set.

Identify the brake package before choosing diameter

Ford lists six-piston Brembo front calipers with larger rotors on the Dark Horse. The caliper and rotor create a three-dimensional envelope inside the wheel. Diameter affects barrel clearance, while spoke shape and mounting-pad position control the gap between the caliper face and the back of the spokes.

A square layout uses the same wheel and tire size at both axles. It can support front-to-rear rotation, shared spares, and a broader front contact patch. The front axle creates the constraint on many square S650 builds. A wide front package must clear the strut, brake hose, inner liner, fender, and bumper attachment through steering and suspension travel.

Wheel size labels do not guarantee rotation. A setup can use equal tire widths with different offsets or face profiles at each axle, which may stop a true front-to-rear swap. Why the EKW TRC-1 suits this fitment conversation
